Job Title: Transportation Engineer / Civil Engineer Job Description: Join our dynamic team as a Transportation Engineer / Civil Engineer! Responsibilities: * Prepare detailed reports, studies, proposals, blogs, and journal articles. * Develop project scopes and fee estimates. * Manage project tasks, including scheduling, scope, roles, and budgets. * Ensure tasks are completed within budget and on schedule. * Contribute to business development and client relationship efforts. * Understand and meet the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers. * Perform and occasionally direct project design, including engineering calculations and computer design software. * Collect and analyze complex project data. * Prepare comprehensive project documents, including specifications and bid documents. * Conduct thorough drawing reviews to ensure clarity and accuracy. * Prepare quantity takeoffs and handle project documentation. * Conduct site observations and report on existing conditions. Essential Skills: * 3+ years of related design experience. * Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution. * EIT or EI preferred; PE license in MO or KS is a plus. * 3+ years of transportation design experience. * Strong knowledge of roadways or highways. * Proficiency in MicroStation, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD. Additional Skills & Qualifications: * Strong technical design skills. * Experience in project management. * Ability to build and maintain client relationships. * Excellent communication skills. Work Environment: Our office operates Monday through Friday with flexible working hours.
