FZ is looking for a Purchasing / Logistics Intern for the Grand Rapids, MI office to join our 2025 Summer Intern program. Our interns will be responsible for supporting their assigned department on day-to-day duties as well as working on an assigned project for the duration of this 14-week internship. The internship will also include developmental opportunities such as visiting construction jobsites to learn more about FZ's business, networking opportunities, a training session to familiarize themselves with their own personal workstyle as well as how to work better with others, taking part in National Intern Day and much more! Areas of focus during the internship: * Warehouse layout and material flow * Job shadowing with purchasing, warehouse and logistics * Exposure to vendors management and negotiation * Vendor consolidation and spend analysis * Creation of Purchasing dashboard and/or communication * Process mapping * Prefab data reporting * Understanding the complexity of construction purchasing Key Qualifications: * Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program and is pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics - incoming Junior or Senior status for Fall '25 semester preferred * Ability to work in-office 40 hours per week from May-August '25 * Proficiency in MS Office Candidates are required to take a pre-employment drug screen.
