The Program Manager is responsible for management and administration of APIC's grant- and contract-funded project with AHCA. In collaboration with the Vice President, the Program Manager manages quarterly program meetings, AHCA team meetings, SMEs, budget and workplan creation. Additionally, the Manager supports project planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring that clearly defined project goals, schedules, and budgets are met.
The Program Manager is responsible for facilitating, tracking, and implementing processes throughout all project lifecycles, including maintaining budgets and workplans. This position will manage operational- related aspects of the department's project/s while managing deadlines and monitoring the progress of the project against key performance indicators on a routine basis. The Program Manager will ensure effective and efficient execution of all aspects of contract- and grant-funded projects, assuring that project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
The Program Manager is expected to perform the duties and responsibilities with exceptional attention to detail. The ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, strong written and verbal communication, organizational
skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities is also needed. The Program Manager must be able to work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and respond to inquiries in a timely manner. This position has significant interaction with members, vendors, and APIC staff.

Education/Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field
* Minimum of3-5 years of program management/coordination experience, preferably in a public health, healthcare, or non-profit setting
* Experience supporting federal grant or contract projects, preferably related to public health or healthcare
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Advanced knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Advanced database management
* Program/project coordination skills - able to set priorities and organize or schedule people or tasks; develops realistic actions plans while being sensitive to time constraints and resource
* Exceptional communication skills - ability to communicate information in a clear and concise manner with individuals at all levels, including customers, members, volunteers, vendors, and APIC staff. Makes clear and convincing oral presentations to individuals or groups; listens effectively and clarifies information as needed; facilitates an open exchange of ideas and fosters an atmosphere of open communication.
* Excellent writing skills - ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand. Proofreading and editing skills are essential.
* Exceptional organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
* Knowledge of or ability to write content and edit for the

* Financial management - knowledge of budgeting, financial reports, and understanding of business development
