Student Intramural Referee Position Overview: The CSP Intramural Referee position is responsible for the management of Intramural game play. This position will lead in-play game calling, penalty enforcement, time management, scoring, conflict management, crisis management, and game leadership when needed. In addition, this position can be asked to assist Intramurals in set up, organization, promotion, marketing, event management, and other tasks as assigned. Essential Duties: * In game penalties, foul call, and game management. In game logistics such as clock management, scoring, rule explanation. Enforce rules, policies, and fouls using warnings both verbal and written. * Serve as an ambassador of safe game play proactively preventing injury at all possible. * Demonstrate decision making ability through calls, communication, and team work * Serve in one of the following roles: Main ref, side ref, score keeper, logistics manager * Attend training in partnership with CSP and MYAS.
