Position Summary

Houston Christian University seeks an Adjunct Professor to join the Department of Music with expertise in teaching applied voice lessons.

Job Status: Exempt

Reports to: Dean of the College of Fine Arts and Humanities

Job Responsibilities

  1. Primary responsibility will be to teach applied voice lessons to both music majors and minors.
  2. Other duties may include teaching additional classes as needed.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a MM, DMA, or PhD in Music. Successful candidates will possess the ability to teach courses in music from a Christian worldview and will demonstrate enthusiasm for our classical liberal arts core curriculum.
