Also responsible to transport patients according to established protocols and assist Advance Life Support (Paramedic) providers with patient care management. Must perform non-emergency routine medical transports utilizing ambulances and wheelchairs vans and follow up with complete appropriate documentation. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S): * Basic life support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Program CPR/AED certified. * Current certification as an Advanced EMT in the Commonwealth of PA or eligible for and completion of reciprocity if certified in another state. * Valid Driver's license required or eligible for a Commonwealth of PA driver's license if out of state. * PA DOH EMSVO certification within 30 days of start date. * HazMat Awareness Training and NIMS (100, 200, 700, 800) required within 30 days of start date. * Must obtain Medical Command within 90 days of start date.
