Position Summary: We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative/Veterinary Assistant to join our team part-time. The ideal candidate will love customer and patient interaction, excel in problem-solving, and have some previous knowledge or experience in the veterinary field. This dual role involves both front-desk responsibilities and assisting our veterinary staff with patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

* Greet and assist clients in person, over the phone, and via email with a warm and professional demeanor. * Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently. * Maintain accurate client records and handle data entry tasks with precision. * Provide clients with information about our services, policies, and procedures. * Handle billing, payments, and other financial transactions. * Address and resolve client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively. * Coordinate communication between clients and veterinary staff. * Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care, including handling animals, preparing examination rooms, and performing basic medical tasks as directed. * Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic and examination areas.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required. * Previous customer service experience and/or experience with companion animals, preferably in a veterinary or medical setting. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. * Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. * Proficiency in computer use and familiarity with veterinary management software is a plus.

The base hourly range for this position is $17.00-$20.00/hour. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
