Key Responsibilities: * Research and Development: * Conduct in-depth research on emerging cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities in smart transportation systems, including connected vehicles, intelligent traffic systems, and public transportation systems. * Develop advanced cybersecurity techniques, such as intrusion detection, anomaly detection, and secure communication protocols, to mitigate these threats. * Design and implement robust cybersecurity frameworks and architectures to enhance the security posture of smart transportation systems. * Experimentation and Validation: * Design and execute experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of proposed cybersecurity solutions in simulated and real-world environments. * Analyze and interpret experimental results to identify areas for improvement and optimization. * Collaborate with industry partners to validate and refine cybersecurity solutions in practical settings. * Publication and Dissemination: * Author high-quality research papers and technical reports to disseminate findings at top-tier conferences and journals. * Present research results at academic conferences and industry forums. * Contribute to the development of intellectual property, such as patents and copyrights. * Collaboration and Mentoring: * Work closely with a team of researchers, engineers, and industry experts to foster a collaborative research environment. * Mentor graduate students and postdoctoral researchers in the areas of cybersecurity and smart transportation systems.
