Reporting to the Corporate Vice President, Finance, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Owner to oversee our Workday Finance system. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial processes and systems, with a proven track record of managing and optimizing Workday Finance across an enterprise. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business success. What you'll do: * Strategic Plan and Roadmap: Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for the Workday Finance system to support the company's financial goals. * Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including finance, IT, and other business units, to ensure systems and processes meet their needs and expectations. * Training and Support: Oversee training and support to users of the Workday Finance system, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools needed to perform their roles effectively. * Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the Workday Finance system complies with all relevant regulations and standards, and manage any associated risks. * Reporting and Analysis: Support the FP&A groups to develop financial reports to provide insights and support decision-making. * Bug and Defect Management: Oversee the identification, tracking, prioritization and resolution of system bugs and defects. * System Oversight: Manage and oversee the Workday Finance system, in conjunction with the Workday IT Product Owner, ensuring its optimal performance and alignment with business objectives across the divisions. * System Enhancements, Process Improvements and Upgrades: Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Manage system enhancements and upgrades, in conjunction with Workday IT Product Owner, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. * Change Management and Testing: Oversee system change management and testing efforts to ensure successful implementation of updates and new features and adequate documentation for audit purposes. * SME Oversight and Support: Provide oversight and support to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure they are effectively making system changes that appropriately manage the system across the enterprise. * Collaboration: Work closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure the system supports their processes and requirements. What you bring: * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA or relevant certification is considered an asset. * Minimum of 5 years of experience managing full-cycle financial business processes, with at least 1-3 years of experience specifically with Workday Finance. * Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes and systems. * Excellent leadership and project management skills. * Ability to think strategically and drive business improvements. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in Workday Finance and other financial software. * Knowledge of CSOX business and ITGC controls.
