What you’ll do:

We make touch and eye tracking based assistive technology for people with communication and mobility challenges. The success of our products has life-changing impact on our customers. Our Production and Supply Chain Team helps to further the mission by ensuring our products come to life.

What you'll do:

The Shipping Manager will oversee our daily shipping and distribution operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all orders are shipped and delivered promptly. The ideal candidate for this position is analytical, well-organized, and possesses excellent communication skills. Must be solution based and excel in building a strong team.

As the Shipping Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Plan and implement overall shipping strategy
• Use shipping software to organize and prioritize shipping activities
• Oversee the whole shipping process
• Oversee the shipping team members
• Hiring and training as needed
• Continued education of shipping employees
• Collaborate with relevant internal and external customers
• Set shipping KPIs
• Prepare and present KPI reports
• Suggest solutions for process optimization
• Manage all important documents such as advanced shipping notice, pick slips, bills of lading, etc.
• Continuous Improvement mindset
• Lean and 5S compliant

What you'll bring:

• Associate degree or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of experience as a shipping manager
• IATA Hazmat Certification
• Lean Certification
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and teaming skills
• Familiarity and experience in utilizing databases
• Web Browser navigation skills
• Familiarity with transportation software (i.e UPS WorldShip)
• MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of logistics operations and shipping procedures and documents
• Hands on experience with shipping and distribution software
• Good leadership skills
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Detailed oriented
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
