Job Description To work closely with front office staff to ensure maximum front office operating efficiency in maintaining high standards of our guest experiences. Responsibilities * To be proficient with all check-in and check-out policies and procedures. * Must be experienced and empowered to handle various guest scenarios. * Ensuring all hotel policies and procedures are being followed; delegating shift responsibilities and checklists, as well as assisting and guiding the front office team in daily duties. * Understanding how to and being able to balance the hotel's reservations, room types and special accommodations. * Assisting with continuously encouraging and boosting the morale of the front office. * Recognizing outstanding performances by associate by participating in the Omni Service Champion program. * Will assist in weekly inventory counts. * To be familiar with all technical equipment and computer systems related to the front desk. * To be familiar with all hotel facilities, offerings and local area attractions. * Will be responsible for assisting in the training of new associates. * Must be familiar with shift checklist and be able to provide leadership in absence of the Assistant Front Office Manager or Director of Front Office. * Understand and be able to perform rooms control duties. Qualifications * Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including AM, PM, weekends and holidays. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Have attained a high propensity for customer service. * Previous hotel front desk agent experience, as well as cash handling experience. * Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. * Will require working overnight shift when needed. * Computer skills - ability to learn Synergy, Opera, Visionline, Alice, Microsoft Office and all other necessary software.
