Job Description/Summary: The Administrative Nursing Supervisor directs and supervises Nursing Service Functions and Activities and provides administrative coverage and support for clinical and management processes. In conjunction with the NAOC and the AOC, the Administrative Nursing Supervisor assumes responsibility for all departments in the absence of a specific onsite department head or administrator. Position Requirements: Minimum Education: #Bachelor#s Degree plus three years management experience required, or Master#s Degree in Nursing plus two years management experience preferred.# Minimum Experience: #Two to three years management (including Charge Nurse) experience required. #Four years of recent pediatric clinical experience. License Required: #Current RN license in State of California. Certification Required: #BLS certification. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Effective verbal and written communication skills. #Excellent interpersonal skills. #Good crisis management/prioritization abilities. Technical Knowledge: #Basic proficiency with personal computer (PC) and electronic medical record (Epic). Physical Requirements: # Sit: Up to 3 hours/day Stand/Walk: 6-8 hours Bend/Stoop: Up to 3 hours Reach: Up to 6 hours Rep Use of UE/Grasp: Up to 6 hrs Lift/Push/Pull: 25 lbs, over 25# with assistance or equipment Able to restrain patient for procedures Able to lift infant/toddler independently.
