Job Description

Small, busy technical firm in Central Ohio is seeking to increase technical manufacturing and field service staff. You will travel through the Midwest and beyond to service existing installations and develop good customer relationships; when not traveling, you will be at our Columbus, Ohio, site, where you are building and testing the equipment that will be installed at customer facilities. Some international travel may be requested.

Key Responsibilities

Building mechanical assemblies

Wiring electrical connections

Learning and using AutoCAD as you assemble parts and add wiring

After being trained on our equipment and its manufacture, you will begin to travel to customer sites: first, to shadow experienced technical staff, and later, to travel independently to handle scheduled maintenance and emergency service

Care for quality of your work

Safely working at all times

Required Qualifications

Associates degree in technical subject matter as minimum

Military experience that is applicable to our technology and systems

Ability to work as part of a team

Ability to maintain attention on deadlines and delivery goals

Clean driving record

Self-starter - we do not micromanage you here

Education Qualifications

Associates' degree or military experience equivalent to 2-year degree

Some college in an engineering area would be great



Other Qualifications

Clean driving and criminal background

Pass drug test - pre-hiring screen, pre-customer site (annual), potential random screen

Prior work in a rolling mill is helpful

Prior work with x-ray and/or radioactive equipment is helpful

Any work experience is helpful, but "on the job training" is part of the role

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A.

Must be able to leave and return to the U.S.A. with no hindrances in case of an international assignment
