Mechanical Engineer - MEP Description Actalent is currently hiring an Mechanical Engineer/Designer for an MEP consulting firm in Columbus, OH. This is a Direct Hire full-time job opportunity that allows you to work on a hybrid schedule (2 days remote). Project types: Healthcare, Distribution centers, Warehouses, Industrial, Institutional, Retail, and International. Design and develop mechanical systems for commercial, and industrial projects within Revit or AutoCAD Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. Conduct site visits to assess existing mechanical systems and gather project requirements. Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated project delivery. Perform load calculations, and HVAC system design. Ensure compliance with local, state, and national mechanical codes and standards. Provide technical support during construction, including reviewing submittals and responding to RFIs (Requests for Information). Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on project progress. Skills mep engineering, mep, mep design, revit mep, revit, building design, facility design, commercial construction, Mechanical design, hvac engineering, hvac design, plumbing design Skills & Qualifications 6-11 Years experience in consulting engineering for buildings Knowledge of and proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit is required E.I./P.E. is preferred LEED AP is preferred Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $120000.00 Hybrid work schedule (2 days remote) Paid time off, medical/life/LTD
