Essential Functions and Primary Duties
* Prepare and review real estate partnership/corporate returns
* Perform research on real estate issues
* Build new and existing client relationships and demonstrate interest and knowledge of clients' businesses
* Keep current on professional pronouncements
* Maintain annual CPE requirement
* Timely communication to all members of engagement team and appropriate client personnel
* Additional responsibilities as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
* 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
* BS and/or Masters in Accounting
* Eligible to sit for the CPA exam
* Basic technology skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy
* Able to problem solve and think both creatively and logically
* Strong tax research skills
Minimum Qualifications Required
* Bachelor's degree
* Must have completed at least one "Busy Season"
* Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
* Proficient use of applicable technology
* Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
The annual salary target for this job in this market is $71,000 - $85,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
