Position Overview:

BlazerJobs is partnering with a middle school in Westfield, IN to find a School Psychologist to join their team from April 7th, 2025 to May 30th, 2025. This is a full-time position where youll play a crucial role in helping students overcome emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges. As a school psychologist, youll work directly with students, staff, and families to create a positive and supportive learning environment. If youre passionate about student well-being and have a strong background in school psychology, this could be the perfect fit!

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to understand students emotional, behavioral, and academic needs.

  • Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans.

  • Provide counseling services and interventions to students facing mental health challenges.

  • Offer crisis intervention and manage student behavior with evidence-based strategies.

  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations to support student success.

  • Serve as a consultant to staff and parents regarding psychological concerns and mental health resources.

  • Support the school community by delivering training and workshops on mental health awareness and strategies.

Requirements:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.

  • Valid School Psychologist licensure in Indiana (or ability to obtain licensure prior to the start date).

  • Experience working with middle school students is highly preferred.

  • Proficiency in psychological assessments, report writing, and IEP development.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders (students, parents, staff).

  • Ability to provide crisis intervention and support for students' mental health needs.
