Advanced training will be provided. What you'll do: * Use artistic skills, design principles and machine perimeters to develop technically accurate artwork in response to design requests, specific instruction or generic briefs while maintaining acceptable lead times * Engage in artwork reviews, mentoring sessions and team discussions for continuous development and increased knowledge of practical design skills, company and industry standards, and internal and external design expectations * Use industry-standard software to create technically accurate and aesthetically innovative designs for specific machine types * Work within Mohawk's copyright policies * Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Mohawk's design guidelines, internal processes and technologies for daily use What you have: * Bachelor's degree in a related field (Textile, Graphic Design, or Fine Art preferred) * Understanding of design and color principles * Proven artistic achievement and design portfolio * Familiarity with Computer Aided Drafting (CAD), such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Texcelle, etc. (preferred) What you're good at: * Working collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team with strong personal organization, poise and professionalism * Communicating effectively with a wide range of individuals in written, oral and interpersonal form * Combining enthusiasm and creativity to help bring new ideas to the drawing board * Working collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team, with strong personal organization, poise and professionalism What else? * While we're a primarily in-office team, we thrive on flexibility and ensuring our people can balance personal and professional time * We're located in a pretty great spot - check out this video to see what we mean Mohawk Industries is a leading global flooring manufacturer that creates products to enhance residential and commercial spaces around the world.
