Job Description: We are seeking a tech-savvy and enthusiastic AV Student Technician to join our team. As an AV Student Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing audiovisual support and ensuring the seamless operation of audio and video equipment for events on campus. You will receive training and work alongside experienced technicians to develop your skills in AV equipment setup, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Requirements: Responsibilities: * Assist in the setup, operation, and breakdown of AV equipment for events on campus. * Ensure that event spaces are clean, organized, and properly equipped. * Greet and assist clients upon their arrival at events. * Provide minor repairs to equipment and communicate any requirements for additional or new equipment. * Clean and maintain storage closets and AV equipment. * Work efficiently and deliver superior customer service. * Develop effective verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Preferred Qualifications: * Flexible schedule with the availability to work evenings and weekends as required. * Previous experience working in a related audio/visual events venue or documented audio/visual operations experience. * Proficient knowledge of audio-visual equipment and computer systems. * Familiarity with presentation software and AV interfaces. * Ability to work independently, make decisions, and identify necessary resources. * Strong oral communication skills. * Excellent teamwork skills.
