Description Salary Information: Minimum for Academic Year 2024-2025, $1,9111 per credit hour, commensurate with education and experience. Duration of Assignment: January 21, 2025 to May 9, 2025 Position funded by: Kahawai Ola Grant Other Conditions: * For lecturer application pool, part-time, pending availability of funds and actual staffing requirements. Courses may be taught during the day, evening, weekend, or online. Duties and Responsibilities: * Teach assigned courses in Psychology or Sociology as designated by Kahawai Ola. * Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught. * Prepare course syllabi and reports related to teaching and student progress. * Work under supervision of division chair in integrating teaching efforts with other instructors in discipline area. * As needed, work with multi-media presentation, distance education instruction, and teaching at off-campus sites. Minimum Qualifications: * Master's Degree in Psychology or Sociology. * Demonstrated teaching effectiveness. Desirable Qualifications: * College teaching experience.
