We are looking to fill a Temporary/Contract Benefits Coordinator position supporting multiple LOGISTEC locations in the US. This position is targeted to be a one-year assignment and will be based out of our Brunswick, Georgia terminal operation.
We are seeking a HIGHLY MOTIVATED and experienced benefits coordinator. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing and administering various employee benefit programs and providing excellent customer service to our employees. If you are a DETAIL ORIENTED with strong administrative and communication skills, then this is the right opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
* Work with HR Business Partner to oversee benefits administration
* Participate in the annual benefits renewal process
* Administer all benefit plans including 401k
* Ensure that all enrollments and terminations are properly processed
* Resolve employee issues with benefit providers
* Assist employees who need to apply for disability or FMLA
* Coordinate with Payroll on benefit deductions or other payroll changes
* Serve as primary contact for the Employee Assistance Plan and assist employees who need help through the EAP
* Handle unemployment claims from all states
* Assist with filing Worker's Compensation claims
* Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
Qualifications
* 2-5 years benefits administration experience
* Strong organizational skills
* Familiarity with benefits and payroll software (Ultipro, Dayforce)
* Professional and mature demeanor including proven ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
* Ability to work in fast paced, ever changing environment, balancing multiple tasks and tight timelines
* Proven ability to think logically, excellent analytical, critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills
* Self-starter to independently complete tasks, but also a team player with a can-do attitude
* Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Advance knowledge of standard computer and office software
* Able to travel to multiple locations within the US
* Able to obtain a TWIC card
