Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to join an established electronics manufacturing company. This is a hybrid position and would require you to be onsite 3 days a week in Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities Senior Network Security Engineer: * Design, implement, and maintain network security systems, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention tools. * Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities. * Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to strengthen the organization's security posture. * Stay informed about emerging network security threats and implement proactive measures. Qualifications Senior Network Security Engineer: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP Security, CISSP, CEH) preferred. * 7+ years of experience in network engineering, focusing on network security and related technologies. * Proficient in configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security technologies. * Strong understanding of network protocols, security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO), and industry best practices. * Experience with SIEM systems and network security monitoring tools. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and strategic mindset. * Ability to work effectively in a global team environment and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
