Overview The Product Development (PD) Coordinator is the primary person accountable for the accurate maintenance of the Product Development Tracker, documenting the progress of every product developed by the Product Development Team. The PD Coordinator supports the PD Managers throughout the development and execution of product specifications and designs and is responsible for gathering relevant data from cross-functional teams and updating the Product Development Tracker accordingly. The PD Coordinator is responsible for the accuracy of the PD Tracker, sample management, and BOM processes. The pay range for this role is $27.50-$37.50 hourly. Responsibilities PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT * Maintenance and timely distribution of the Product Development Tracker. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make sure all data is gathered and input in a timely manner. * Validate and confirm all costing with appropriate team members. * Validate Bill of Materials (BOM) completion and organize sign-offs by all necessary team members. * Provide weekly progress reports to Leadership, notifying them of any blocks and/or challenges. * Participate and contribute to Design for Manufacturing process. * Support PD Managers in the building of product mechanicals. * Contribute to weekly Product Development (PD) meetings with the preparation and distribution of documents, photos and communication of all incoming and/or in-house samples for review. * Support PD Managers in resolving any product issues with vendors. * Document in PD Tracker any "red lights" that may impact development timeline. * Monitor aesthetic issues resolution with Merchants and update PD Tracker accordingly. * Participate in the wear-testing process and support the documentation and distribution of results. * Assist PD Managers in mechanicals and BOM updates. * Track shipments of samples and/or the return of samples to vendors; support PDAMs in sample processing. * Update PD Tracker with documented quality sheets; document distribution to QA and QC teams. * Coordinate all operational actions with all relevant teams, including Master Data, Procurement, Diamond, Production, and Processing. * Obtain sign-off/approval on all incoming product development and procurement documents. * Assist PD Managers in execution of Development of Sample Job Bag Process. * Support and follow all mandated security procedures. TEAM SUPPORT * Schedule and manage vendor appointments. * Prepare and distribute vendor agendas; confirm meetings. * Team calendar management: detailing all trade shows and business trips, WSM & HSM holidays, milestone dates, target delivery dates, etc. * Create spreadsheets, manage databases, prepare presentations. Qualifications * 2+ years of experience in Project Coordination role. * 2+ years of experience in a supportive role to leadership. * Basic understanding of product life cycles and their impact on new development. * Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment. * Proven problem-solving skills and goal orientation. * Strong attention to detail, and ability to manage and follow defined processes. * Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing. * Willingness to work non-standard hours as the team collaborates with global vendors. * Advanced ability in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and One Note. The best candidate for this role will be comfortable working with cross-functional teams and will have strong follow-through. For success in this role, the candidate must be proactive, organized, and cooperative. Work Environment The primary environment for this role is an open workspace which is brightly lit, subdued regarding bright color and decoration, and free of clutter. Considerable business is conducted using the telephone and computer technology. Work requires dexterity with small objects, visual acuity, and ability to discern color gradations. The range describes the minimum to maximum likely rate for this job description in the state of Colorado. Individual pay will be determined based on skills and qualifications for the role. The salary range for this same position may be lower or higher in markets outside of Colorado. Employer will not sponsor visa or work authorization.
