As the Long Term Planner at Haleon you will be reporting to the Director of Planning & Warehouse and you will be responsible for the strategic and tactical development of the site Master Production Schedule (MPS) and the site capacity planning function for the site. The MPS is developed and modified weekly in response to planned and unplanned forecast demand, forecast increases, shortfalls, marketing promotions, site engineering projects, new product launches, production performance and inventory requirements. Key responsibilities: * Developing/reviewing the detailed plan for all finished goods and make-to-order semi-finished bulk at the site to FG inventory targets. * Collaborating regularly with production planner to make certain both near- and long-term planning horizons are planned and scheduled to achieve product supply/delivery targets of the supported categories. * Collaborating regularly with project engineers, process engineers, and maintenance engineers to ensure equipment projects and maintenance are included in the capacity plan and do not adversely affect supply or inventory. * In collaboration with the Planning Hub develop annual capacity plans for Facility Master Plan (FMP), Long-Term Capacity Planning (LTCP) scenarios in addition to detailed capacity analysis for alternate scenarios to support short term in-sourcing, site expansion, and new product launches. * Leading Site Run Strategy Meeting (SRS). Coordinating with supply hub for Hub Supply Review Meeting (SRM) inputs. * Proactively communicating significant demand and supply changes up and down the supply chain upon occurrence. Leading cross-functional teams of supply chain, quality, technical, operations, and procurement to resolve supply issues. * Serving as primary communications focal point for all external customers (distribution centers, Planning hub, customer service, demand planning) regarding site inventory and supply. Leading projects to improve supply chain reporting and agile data-driven decision making. * Serving as site lead for resolving Supply Chain Issues Management (SCIM) at the SCIM-1 level. Providing inputs on executive one-pagers for escalations to the SCIM-2, SCIM-3 and SCIM-4 levels. * Tracking and reporting projections and SC KPI's for capacity utilization, staffing requirements, customer on-time in-full (OTIF), inventory levels, inventory turns, cycle times, and production make frequency. * Preparing detailed 2 year+ inventory projections for finance and above sites Planning team. Providing detailed analysis of risks and opportunities for inventory reduction. Monitoring inventory and taking action to ensure site meets inventory targets. Managing and scheduling export shipments to meet targets of service, inventory, and transportation cost. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, IT Systems, or Business is preferred. Alternatively, 5+ years of direct experience in production material planning, with a preference for experience in a pharmaceutical environment. * 7+ years of experience in planning of multiple resources at the master schedule level. * 5+ years in a manufacturing environment ideally with exposure to Manufacturing/Packaging Processes. * PowerBi experience recommended. Proficient in Excel and SAP is a must. * Demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems (SAP), delivery of improvement initiatives and implementation of KPI's that resulted in both financial and non-financial benefits. Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: * Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). * Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certified. * Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of supply chain procedures related to scheduling/manufacturing and release of finished goods (including new product launches, product changes, and quality/regulatory requirements). * Experience in FDA regulated environment preferred. * Additional procurement experience preferred. * Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. * High Degree of computer literacy including Microsoft and ERP system experience. (advanced level user of Excel and SAP preferred) * Demonstrate good analytical skills, showing ability to manage multiple priorities, and adapt to frequent changes. * Ability to operate in a team-based environment working with multiple on-site departments as well as central teams. * Evidence of high degree of self-motivation, accuracy, and attention to detail.
