Together, we'll continue to create and deliver content that reflects the current and ever-changing face of the world. * Job Description Summary This position will support the Universal Studios Hollywood (USH) Investigations Department, focusing on the Workplace Violence Program and internal and external employee investigations. It will partner with USH Management, Human Resources and Labor Relations, and other businesses within USH and CityWalk. This position will report to the Manager of Compliance and Investigations. Responsibilities * Conduct investigations within the USH Workplace Violence Program, documenting and tracking incidents using USH programs and the Incident Management System. * Provide investigative support for USH Security Managers by partnering with them on incidents involving Workplace Violence investigations and liaison with Human Resources and Global Security. * Partner with USH Investigations' Investigators in conducting internal and exterior employee investigations. * Provide support for the Surveillance Retention Program, conducting surveillance reviews as needed. * Prepare operational reports, analyze and compile statistical reports to present to management, and perform other duties as assigned. * Maintain a liaison with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. and other law enforcement agencies. * Qualifications Qualifications/Requirements * A minimum of (2) two years of experience in Security, Law Enforcement, or related applicable security professions, with investigative experience. * Experience conducting interviews of involved parties during an investigation. * Availability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, nights, Weekends, Holidays, and special events dictated by 24/7 365-day operational business need. * Proven organizational, written, and verbal communication skills effective at all levels of the organization. * Must be able to maintain confidentiality. * Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and walk/travel to multiple venues throughout the day. * Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA. * Must be willing to submit to a background investigation. * Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. * Must be 18+ years or older and possess a valid California Driver's License. Desired Characteristics * Proficient with surveillance systems, Incident Management Systems, and other security-related technology systems. * Strong investigative skills with Wicklander-Zulawski or Reid & Associates certification, CFI certification a plus. * Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple investigations at the same time. * Ability to work both independently and manage time effectively and as part of a team. * Knowledge of Social Media and Open Source Platforms for investigative purposes. * Proficient with MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV through SmartRecruiters.com to be considered.
