Paul Mitchell Advanced Education (PMAE) is the franchise company for Paul Mitchell Schools, which consists of a network of over 100 schools that offer cosmetology, barbering, esthetics, and nail care programs. Objective: Paul Mitchell Advanced Education is seeking a friendly, team-oriented, and qualified copy editor and content writer to join our production team. This position is Full-Time, 40 hours a week. Paul Mitchell Advanced Education is committed to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. Qualifications: * The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in English or a related field * Experience in content writing, content editing, copy editing, proofreading, and attention to detail * Should be comfortable working with Keynote * Experience with MailChimp or similar platform for e-blast communications * Experience managing multiple projects and campaign schedules * Experience in creating graphic design campaigns with Canva or a similar platform Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include creating engaging, informative content for internal e-blasts and editing submissions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency, to improve structure, and to ensure professional editorial standards are met. The copy editor / content writer will work closely with the design team to edit and publish curriculum, training materials, and other essential resources for the Paul Mitchell Schools network and departments of Paul Mitchell Advanced Education. The selected candidate must be able to multitask several projects in different stages of development, and he or she must be accessible for the occasional project requiring immediate action.
