Professional Staff Singers
Date: July 2024
FLSA Category: PT Non- Exempt
Hours: 8 -10 hours per week | Additional rehearsals and concerts will be required during the Advent and Lenten seasons.
Season: September 1st -June 30th
PURPOSE:
Professional staff singers for its chancel choir and chamber choir ensembles. Summer work may be available upon the needs of the Classic Worship Director. Vocal music for weddings and funerals upon request.
POSITION FOCUS: Music/Classic Worship
SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to the Director of Classic Worship
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Excellent vocal technique & musicianship
- Excellent Ensemble Skills
- Ability to sing solos as assigned
- Strong sight-reading skills
- Inspire and support the volunteer singers and have a willingness to work collaboratively.

Qualifications
ADDITIONAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in music performance or appropriate equivalent experience.
- Professional choral singing experience. Experience singing with professional choirs and non-professional choirs. Desired candidates can inspire and support the volunteer singers and have a willingness to work collaboratively.
