We are looking for a Sustainability Solutions Project Developer. This position will be based in Wendell, NC. As a SustainabilitySolutions Project Developer, you play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technology and business. Your responsibilities encompass project development expertise, coordination with department team members and external partners. Roles & Responsibilities * Project Development Expertise: * Prepare budget and schedule to manage project development cycle * Identify and provide interconnection and permitting support for contractors and end users * Evaluate federal, state, and local incentives applicable to the project financials * Evaluate grid services available for project revenue opportunities * Support document management (lease agreements, site drawings, energy bills, surveys, etc.) * Outline project performance requirements (i.e. uptime, capacity, efficiency) * Prepare proposal documents * Provide LoA prep support during project approval phase * Schedule legal reviews of supplier and customer contracts, terms and conditions * Provide project feasibility analysis * Coordinate operations, maintenance, and service scope with Customer Service team * Work with 3rd party finance partners to develop Proforma * Provide support for reviewing contract terms and conditions * Work with suppliers and contractors to obtain construction quotations * Quality Assurance: Ensure solutions meet quality standards, scalability, and performance requirements. * Emerging Technologies: Stay abreast of industry trends and evaluate their impact on designs. * Knowledge are Industry knowledge and application of photovoltaic, battery energy storage, * Customer Engagement: * Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with sales and offer teams during pre-sales activities, including solution presentations and discussions. * Post-Sales: Ensure successful project turnover to implementation and service teams. * Stakeholder Communication: * Executive Reporting: Provide updates to senior management on sustainability solution initiatives, progress, and challenges. * Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to solution delivery. You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: * Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education. * Experience: 5-7 years of experience in a similar role in project development or a related sustainable energy role. * Leadership Skills: Proven leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities. * Software Application Knowledge: SieOps (salesforce); Autodesk suite, Microsoft Office, MS Teams. Microsoft Dynamics * Business Acumen: Ability to align technical solutions with business goals. * Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market trends. Knowledge of NEC, IBC, IFC codes and applications. Preferred Qualifications: * Preferred experience with turnkey construction projects in photovoltaic, energy storage or technology combination applications. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
