We are looking for a Sustainability Solutions Project Developer. This position will be based in Wendell, NC. As a SustainabilitySolutions Project Developer, you play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technology and business. Your responsibilities encompass project development expertise, coordination with department team members and external partners. Roles & Responsibilities * Project Development Expertise: * Prepare budget and schedule to manage project development cycle * Identify and provide interconnection and permitting support for contractors and end users * Evaluate federal, state, and local incentives applicable to the project financials * Evaluate grid services available for project revenue opportunities * Support document management (lease agreements, site drawings, energy bills, surveys, etc.) * Outline project performance requirements (i.e. uptime, capacity, efficiency) * Prepare proposal documents * Provide LoA prep support during project approval phase * Schedule legal reviews of supplier and customer contracts, terms and conditions * Provide project feasibility analysis * Coordinate operations, maintenance, and service scope with Customer Service team * Work with 3rd party finance partners to develop Proforma * Provide support for reviewing contract terms and conditions * Work with suppliers and contractors to obtain construction quotations * Quality Assurance: Ensure solutions meet quality standards, scalability, and performance requirements. * Emerging Technologies: Stay abreast of industry trends and evaluate their impact on designs. * Knowledge are Industry knowledge and application of photovoltaic, battery energy storage, * Customer Engagement: * Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with sales and offer teams during pre-sales activities, including solution presentations and discussions. * Post-Sales: Ensure successful project turnover to implementation and service teams. * Stakeholder Communication: * Executive Reporting: Provide updates to senior management on sustainability solution initiatives, progress, and challenges. * Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to solution delivery. You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: * Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education. * Experience: 5-7 years of experience in a similar role in project development or a related sustainable energy role. * Leadership Skills: Proven leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities. * Software Application Knowledge: SieOps (salesforce); Autodesk suite, Microsoft Office, MS Teams. Microsoft Dynamics * Business Acumen: Ability to align technical solutions with business goals. * Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market trends. Knowledge of NEC, IBC, IFC codes and applications. Preferred Qualifications: * Preferred experience with turnkey construction projects in photovoltaic, energy storage or technology combination applications.
