This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Project Delivery Associate for our Northeast Transportation & Infrastructure Region. The following locations will be considered: Providence, RI; Glastonbury, CT; Boston/Worcester, MA; Merrimack, NH.
Be involved in projects with our Transportation and Infrastructure & Operations Teams and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.
Your Impact
The successful candidate will:
* Be conversant in financial terms and metrics and have experience reviewing these as well as identifying potential concerns and items needing Business Management Leaders focus.
* Be a good communicator who can be proactive with PMs in all phases of Project Delivery life cycle from proposals to project close out.
* Assist in development of work plans for addressing technical issues within project time and budget.
* Take part in training our PMs with tools to successfully manage profitable projects, while providing quality deliverables to clients.
* Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
* Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or related field.
* 1-3+ years of relevant post education experience
* Proficient with MS Office Suite of Programs
* Experience working on projects with responsibility for cost and schedule control and reporting internally within the company
* Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to technical and non-technical audiences.
* Proficient self-leadership with attention to detail, accuracy, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
* Demonstrated ability in risk identification and mitigation skills.
* Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
* Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
* Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.
