ABOUT THE CONSULTING PRACTICE The Alira Health Consulting Practice is an integrated, international team of approximately two hundred consultants specialized in the healthcare industry who can lead, manage, and execute a broad range of assignments, from Local and Global Market Access and Pricing to Strategy and Commercial Excellence, for Pharma, Diagnostics, MedTech, and Digital Health Solutions (DHS) clients. Examples of assignments conducted by the Consulting Team at Alira Health are the following: * Corporate strategy * Market opportunity assessment * Commercial/vendor due diligence * Global Market Access, pricing, and reimbursement strategy * Evidence generation strategy and plan * Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) strategy * Country launch planning & sequencing * Patient Mobilization & Support Programs The Senior consultant Role (MEDTECH) Alira Health is actively searching for an experienced Senior Consultant with significant MedTech expertise to join their international consulting practice. Senior Consultants work closely with Engagement Managers, Principals, and Partners to solve challenging client questions. Senior Consultants fully own assigned projects and deliver components of the client engagement; Their main goal is the successful project delivery with the assigned team, within the agreed timeline, with the highest quality standards. KEY RESPONSABILITIES Project Execution / Billability (70%-90%): * Manages the execution of a project, develops a plan to approach client's needs, and leverages business experience and acumen in identifying strategies, and project approach to client questions with limited guidance from senior roles. * Coordinates client and stakeholder engagements, leading meetings, reporting to clients on overall project execution. * Guides and reviews quantitative and qualitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client deliverables. * Understands and anticipates potential issues and/or challenges deriving from the initial 'problem' and able to communicate this effectively to the project team and senior colleagues. * Coordinates the creation of entire reports, presentations, workshops, and other client deliverables. * Ensures the high quality, timing, and accuracy of complex deliverables. * Provides oversight and direction to team members throughout a project's development. * Ensures compliance with the organization's policies, procedures, vision, mission statement, and values. Business Development / Corporate Initiatives (up to 20%): * Supports the Business Development process from lead generation to proposal defense as part of the execution team. * Participates in corporate development by contributing to internal strategic projects, knowledge management, technology systems, and related functions. * Manages, coaches, and coordinates Associates, Consultants, and Analysts, and acts as their point of reference for daily activities and training, among others. * Supports the preparation and delivery of sales presentations, including quotes and full proposals. * Supports recruitment and oversees new employees' onboarding. Thought Leadership (up to 10%): * Support development of thougth leadership projects, such as white papers, publications, specialized conferences, and so forth. DESIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE * A blend of consulting and/or industry experience focused on Market Access, Pricing, and Reimbursement. Minimum of 4-5 years of professional experience in top-notch consulting and/or Life Sciences companies. * Has a broad knowledge of related consulting methodologies, through the delivery of previous consulting engagements and participation in formal and informal training programs. * The ideal candidate will have a significant amount of their experience working for MedTech companies and/or consulting on MedTech-specific projects. Knowledge and experience in Precision Medicine / Diagnostics will be highly valued. * Graduate degree with an excellent track record in either Life Sciences, Medical, Business, Economics, or Engineering programs; PhDs, specialized Masters in Life Sciences, MBAs or similar degrees will be considered a plus. * Proven track record in managing complex projects and project multi-disciplinary teams. TECHNICAL COMPETENCES & SOFT SKILLS * Strong analytical skills and ability to problem-solve unstructured or ambiguous challenges. * Proven project management skills, including clients interaction, full execution of deliverables, clear communication, and negotiation skills. * Excellent communication, being able to sell ideas effectively to internal and external stakeholders, and interpersonal skills, working in a multicultural enviroment. * Ability to coach and develop staff, including goal setting, feedback, and performance development. * Flexible to accommodate changing priorities, with a positive "can-do" attitude. * Excellent English, both written and verbal. Other language skills are considered to be a plus. * Team player who thrives in a less structured, collaborative environment.
