Our Technical Sales Engineer plays a vital role within our organization. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include having a deep understanding of QuVa products, technologies, and security to advance deals through the sales pipeline. The Technical Sales Engineer sits at the intersection between sales and cutting-edge technology. Prospects and customers need to ensure the technologies they use are secure, well-designed, and fit into their IT environments. LogicStream, a QuVa company, is trusted by a community of high-performing healthcare providers and partners to generate clinical insights from clinical data. This is a hybrid position located in the Minneapolis / Twin Cities office.
What the Technical Sales Engineer Does Each Day:
* Complete IT and information security questionaries and RFPs for prospects and customers
* Maintain a database of standard questionnaire responses
* Present to prospect and customer IT and security teams during the sales process
* Translate deep technical and product knowledge into easy-to-consume messaging appropriate for sales environments
* Review contracts with prospects to ensure they address security, confidentiality, and privacy requirements
* Assist in turnover from sales to customer success and implementation teams
* Collect market and product feedback from the sales process for use in advancing product roadmaps, go-to-market strategy, and corporate information security posture
* Advocate for customers; communicate IT and security needs to customer success, development, and information security teams

* Promotes active listening with team members; contributes appropriately to conversations; strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with other departments within the organization and with people at all levels of the organization
* Understands how various issues affect each other and the outcome of projects; improves upon existing approaches by seeking opportunities to creatively transform
* Is efficient in MS Office suite
Minimum Requirements for this Role:
* Bachelor's degree in management information systems, software engineering, business administration, or related field; or equivalent industry experience
* 2+ years' experience across technical and sales competencies with sales pipelines and deal management
* Solid understanding of the fundamentals of information security, software hosting infrastructure, and agile software development processes
* Exceptional verbal and written communication
* Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
* Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; QuVa is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas
