Salary/Position Classification * $16.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime) * 10-15 hours per week * 100% Remote Work Availability: No * Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): Yes Purpose of Position This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. To aid and perform research project funded by Arts & Sciences Undergraduate Research & Creative Activity Award. Duties & Responsibilities * Collecting Socioeconomic data from Census Bureau and other sources * Analyzing and visualizing data in a GIS Environment Learning Outcomes As a result of working in this position, the staff member will gain the following skills: * Collaboration & Teamwork * Professionalism * Technology * Learning & Application * Critical Thinking & Problem Solving Minimum Requirements * Must have a GPA of 3.0 or above * Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester * Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
