Duties & Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machine, material, and process problems
• Take a proactive role in optimizing processes and procedures related to the position
• Document processes and changes to processes including downtime on process change sheets and master set up sheets
• Accountable for the maintenance of the molds and organization of the setup area

Minimum Requirements

• Must be able to climb heights as required
• Must be able to work around fumes, heat, and large machines
• Must know mold parts and their functions and be able to change all cores, cavities, inserts, and pins that each job requires
• Must have good knowledge of injection molding machine functions related to the setup and start-up of each job
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal directions accurately and in a timely manner

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 years experience processing injection molding equipment
