Position Specific Description
The PV Solar Technician III will play a crucial role in supporting the operations and maintenance of NextEra Energy's photovoltaic (PV) solar systems located at Diver Solar located near Thornton, TX. As a member of the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team, the technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and reliability of clean energy systems.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct routine preventive maintenance activities on solar panels, battery storage systems, and associated equipment.
* Troubleshoot and undertake corrective maintenance to identify and resolve system issues, ensuring maximum system uptime and efficiency.
* Adhere to maintenance schedules and follow established procedures for inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and component replacements.
* Utilize monitoring software and tools to regularly monitor and analyze system performance, identifying deviations and inefficiencies.
* Generate performance reports and maintain accurate records of system performance, including energy production, equipment status, and maintenance activities.
* Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
* Adhere to environmental regulations and procedures during maintenance activities and waste management.
* Maintain accurate documentation of O&M activities, including maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory records.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other stakeholders regarding work progress, challenges, and recommendations.
