Executive Director: Texas Bach Festival (part time, approximately 10 hours per week)

The Texas Bach Festival is a 501(c)(3) Non-profit organization founded in 2017, based in Georgetown, Texas_www.texasbachfestival.org_

The mission of the Texas Bach Festival is to champion and advance the great and timeless music of Johann Sebastian Bach and subsequent composers inspired by him by means of educational and performance projects in the Georgetown and greater Central Texas areas_

The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative leader, strategic thinker, strong communicator, team leader and effective fundraiser with a passion for music and music education. Critical success competencies for this position include:

1. Communication: Strong verbal and written skills; the ability to collaborate with the TBF artistic director, board of directors, volunteers, community partners and donors; culturally astute.

2. Strategic Leader: Support the TBF artistic director and board of directors to achieve vision and mission; lead implementation of the TBF strategic plan, measure outcomes, identify gaps and support requirements; assess external and internal environments; identify marketing opportunities and promote innovative and realistic solutions.

3. Music Passion and Aptitude: An innate passion for music in general and desirably that of the Baroque and J. S. Bach in particular; familiarity with the performing arts, artistic people, planning, processes, programming and organizing/presenting concert productions.

4. Non-profit Mindset: Mission-centric, team and community builder, ethical, efficient, organized, accountable and reports/documents results on key performance indicators to TBF stakeholders; reports and retains all relevant TBF Non-profit activity documents in the central document repository/share drive.

5. Business aptitude: Knowledgeable of For Profit and Non-profit business structures, strategic plans, operations, NFP bylaws, committees, reporting requirements, etc. and fundraising (individual v. corporate donors, grants, special events, online giving) and marketing (social media, website/online, print, etc.).

6. Building constituency: Nurture and secure individual and corporate donors; organize special events; recruit, train and develop volunteers and interns to help implement TBF mission and activities; develop new contacts and new collaborations to build TBF's active role in the surrounding schools and arts community_
