WNCN, the Nexstar station in Raleigh, is looking for a hands-on, aggressive, Executive Producer who can help take our newscasts to the next level. The successful candidate must have a proven track record as a creative newscast producer or executive producer. Candidates must have strong leadership skills and news judgment, the ability to showcase important stories, and know how to win "Breaking News and Weather". As a key newsroom manager, the EP will recruit talented staff, help craft the station's daily content, and work with producers, the assignment desk, our crews in the field, and our digital team. The EP will work closely with the News Director and Assistant News Director to set and uphold the high standards for how CBS 17 newscasts are produced and executed as well as content across all digital platforms. Candidates must have a BA in Journalism and a minimum of 2 years management experience at a network affiliate.
