As our Staff Technical Recruiter, you'll be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring the exceptional technical talent that powers our mission-driven work. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams-including Engineering, Product, and Data-to shape our hiring strategies, deliver a seamless candidate experience, and build diverse and innovative teams that drive real impact in rural communities. By ensuring we attract the best-in-class technical professionals, you will help shape the direction of the company and amplify our ability to provide equitable healthcare solutions at scale. This hybrid position will require on-site presence 3 times per week in our San Mateo office. What You'll Do: * Own the full recruitment life cycle for engineering, product, design, data, and other technical roles, ensuring we build a team that can deliver high-quality healthcare solutions to rural communities. * Roll up your sleeves to creatively source, assess, and close top talent who share our passion for transforming healthcare. * Partner with the recruiting team, hiring managers, and executive leadership to identify and fill critical technical positions aligned with our growth strategy. * Build strong relationships with technical professionals across the U.S., helping them understand our mission and the impact they can have. * Design and implement recruiting programs that scale our hiring efforts, such as referral drives, interview training, and talent branding initiatives. * Create an inclusive recruiting process that supports candidates from diverse backgrounds at all stages of the funnel. * Help shape a best-in-class talent organization that delivers exceptional candidate experiences and fosters a strong, mission-driven culture. * Effectively communicate Homeward's vision, culture, and technical challenges, helping candidates grasp the influence they can have on our team and communities. What You Bring: * 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a focus on sourcing highly sought-after technical talent (engineering, product, data, and more). * Hands-on experience with recruiting software and compliance (bonus points for Greenhouse familiarity). * Proven success in diverse sourcing strategies for a variety of challenging technical roles, leveraging both traditional and creative channels. * Strong relationship-building skills grounded in empathy for both candidates and internal teams. * Comfort working on a distributed team, with the ability to adapt and pivot as business needs evolve. * Passion for delivering impact in rural America-motivated by using technology to advance healthcare access. Bonus Points If You Have: * Experience working on a small, fast-paced team, taking initiative, and wearing multiple hats. * A track record of scaling technical teams quickly while maintaining high-quality standards. * Familiarity with healthcare or healthtech environments, especially if you've recruited technical roles in this space. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, location, competencies, and experience. Base pay is one part of the total compensation package we provide to recognize employees for their work at Homeward. This role is eligible for an annual bonus, stock options, and a comprehensive benefits package.
