Location: Energy Corridor, Houston, TX Work from Home: 1 day per week Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 + 15% bonus What We're Looking For: * Experience: Minimum 6+ years accounting experience * Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (CPA preferred). * Background: Public accounting experience is a plus, and a strong background in both industry and financial analysis is ideal. * Skills: Proficiency in Excel and experience with financial analysis, journal entries, general ledger, and reporting. Bonus Points: Experience in family office environment or corporate fleet accounting would be a huge plus! Key Responsibilities: * Full-cycle accounting including journal entries, monthly closing, and financial reporting. * Work cross-functionally across multiple businesses/divisions to manage financials * Analyze financial data, compare actual results to budget, and provide variance explanations. * Assist with tax schedules, audits, and complex financial reporting.
