Job Responsibilities Careers at DPH: Work that makes a difference! Embracing Service, Inspiring Innovation, Promoting Teamwork, Pursuing Excellence, and Advancing Equity Facilitate and lead general administrative activities (e.g., print shop orders, inventory, travel planning and processing, conference registration, coordination of front desk coverage, record maintenance, mail collection and distribution, asset retrieval, file organization, information and purchase requests, hiring and salary paperwork). Assist with timely data collection and submission required for periodic processes, such as telecommuting renewal, routing directory updates, vacancy reports, and organizational chart revisions. Contribute to Bureau-level planning and ensure consistency through assistance with various tasks (e.g., creating agendas, organizing and scheduling meetings, booking conference rooms, taking meeting minutes, gathering supporting materials). Represent Bureau of Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention during quarterly administrative meetings; serve as liaison and Bureau point of contact across various program areas and internal offices upon request. Support coordination of Public Health Block Grant planning and deliverables with funded program areas, including but not limited to, work plan development, advisory committee documentation, interim and final annual progress reports, budget inquiries, and data entry. Other duties as assigned. Minimum and Additional Requirements State Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services or a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience. Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
