Job Description:
GBD Personal Guide
Location: Must live within 50 miles of the Atlanta or Midland, GA PulsePoint.
The GBD Personal Guide is responsible for serving GBD member(s) with the Personal Guide Service Model.
How You Will Make an Impact:
* Facilitate and coordinate resolution with internal and external contacts to satisfy a members need. Interprets plan benefit design; resolves complex claim, benefit, and enrollment issues.
* Performs research to respond to inquiries and interprets policy provisions to determine most effective response.
* Increases member engagement into appropriate programs and offerings.
* Acts as a trusted advisor and educator on health care related inquiries.
* Coaches members on ways to reduce health risks and compliance by scheduling appointments or enrollment in programs.
* Prepares reports to document case and compliance updates.
Minimum Requirements:
* Requires a HS diploma or GED and a minimum of 5 years of the company's customer service experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Experiences, and Capabilities:
* Experience with Foster Care
* Experience with Medicaid
