In the role of Accounting Assistant, we'll count on you to: * Perform accounting functions such as payroll, accounts payable, sub-consultant releases, purchase requisitions, usages recovery, accounts receivable collections, budgets, financial planning, general accounting, billing and etc. * Perform specific and limited portions of a broader assignment * Do routine work and follow detailed instructions * Involve the use of computers to maintain financial records and accounting reports * Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting * Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Outlook * Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling and telephone skills * Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and collaborate with various managers in a fast-paced environment Required Qualifications * High School diploma or equivalent * Strong attention to detail, manage multiple projects independently * An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
