Aircraft Maintenance Technician Job Description
Overview
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician conducts inspections, repairs and performs scheduled maintenance to aircrafts. Their role is keep maintenance and repair logs, use power and hand tools, maintain system equipment, and use gauges and diagnostic tests to detect malfunctions. Their responsibilities are repairing or replacing broken aircraft parts, performing troubleshooting, understanding and applying guidelines from manuals and blueprints, ensuring compliance with regional safety regulations, and collaborating with other mechanics and electricians.
