Automation Technician Job Description
Overview
An Automation Technician maintains the computer-controlled systems and robotic devices used within industrial and commercial facilities to reduce human interference and maximize performance. Their role is to troubleshoot, service and fix the computerized systems, perform routine diagnostic checks on automated systems, monitor automated systems, isolate problems, and perform repairs. Their responsibilities are to install, maintain and replace automation systems at key points in the production process, troubleshoot non-functioning components including servos, sensors and control components, log equipment usage, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionality, and...
