Overview
The Clinical Manager oversees the daily operations of medical facilities. Their role is to manage both the medical and administrative aspects of a healthcare facility. Their responsibilities are to manage staff members in clerical, administrative and clinical areas, supervise daily activities in the facility, develop and implement policies, procedures and work standards, formulate, monitor and enforces budgets, make purchasing decisions, hold meetings and communicate with staff, supervises staff in several departments, attend public meetings to publicize the healthcare facility, handle community outreach programs, assist with clinical assessments of patients, keep patient medical records upd...

Job requirements for being a nurse coordinator is that you have to have experience as a nurse, as a charge nurse. You have to have acute care experience.
Career Background:
I have a background in acute care and long-term care for pediatric oncology patients. I have a background in forensics for sexual assault victims and gender-based violence.
Clinical Operations Responsibilities:
Some of the clinical operations that we do on a daily basis is that you're responsible for daily clinical staff activities relating to patient care. You have to ensure proper staffing, ensure safety of the team and our patients. I oversee service delivery and productivity and what this means is that sometimes I have to case manage patients and their particular needs and this is very important when it comes to our homeless population because they have special needs.
Working With Homeless Patients:
We've worked with homeless patients. If you are a nurse, if you want to be out in the field at encampments, that's what it takes.
