A Comedian writes, edits and improves the comedy bits they perform. Their role is to perform stand-up comedy on the stage or for television, give interviews and engage with radio and podcast hosts, write humorous blog posts and articles, and act in TV commercials or in a series. Their responsibilities are to perform voice work for video games and animated entertainment, handle live hecklers who attempt to pull attention toward themselves during performances, and deliver jokes or comedy sketches before crowds.
