Interior Designer Job Description
Overview
An Interior Designer brings an artistic vision to the layout, furniture and decorations in work and living spaces. Their role is to outline client design objectives, conceptualize and sketch design plans, determine the cost of completion and project requirements, set a timeline for the completion of a project, and source elements and products involved in the plans. Their responsibilities are to design plans in reference to safety and functionality requirements, maintain strict adherence to building codes and regulatory standards, utilize computer applications in the design process, and examine the design after completion to determine whether client goals have been met.
