Mechanical Designer Job Description
Overview
A Mechanical Designer creates designs and technical drawings for mechanical equipment, tools and products. Their role is to prepare calculations on the proposed machine, sketch and draw up designs, calculate dimensions and structural analysis, create designs with company procedures, and submit drawings to upper management. Their responsibilities are to analyze and consider customer feedback, verify new designs through analyzation and testing, finalize designs and send prints to the production department, and ensure that the machine is built according to the design specifications.
