The Office Assistant helps manage the office by providing assistance to complete adminstrative tasks. Their role is to schedule appointments, proofread documents, receive guests, and handle clerical and organizational support tasks. Their responsibilities are handling incoming calls and other communications, maintaining the filing system, updating paperwork, helping organize and maintain office common areas, performing general office clerk duties and errands, organizing travel by booking accommodations and reservations, coordinating events, and maintaining supply inventory and office equipment.
