Postmaster Job Description
Overview
A Postmaster supervises the supply of mail delivery, and oversees the post workplace retail operations. Their role is to propose a branch budget, manage expenses, and prepare reports concerning post workplace activities for regional management. Their responsibilities are to train postal employees, handle client transactions, supervise mail processing, justify post workplace laws to customers, provide information about new postal services, and supervise the mail processing.
