Production Supervisor Job Description
Overview
A Production Supervisor oversees staff manufacturing products, and organizes and monitors workflow. Their role is communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring and appraising job results, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees, and initiating, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures. Their responsibilities are to maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees, and resolve personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions and recommending action.
