Public Relations Director Job Description
Overview
A Public Relations Director sets objectives for the PR team and monitors team member performance. Their role is to arrange interviews and press releases to promote the company and its products or services, cultivate and maintain relationships with media and influential professionals, and maximize brand presence on various channels. Their responsibilities are to organize PR events to increase awareness of the company, assign tasks and projects to the PR team, report on PR campaign results, track and influence media coverage, and manage sensitive issues to maintain the company’s reputation.
